I may be stuck on this "she's my sister" thing, but how interesting is it that now Isaac is claiming that Rebekah is his sister? Like father like son. It makes me think of generational sins being passed down, and how they may have struggled with fully trusting God to protect them.
That makes me think about premarital counseling and how our counselors were saying that habits like going to church, reading devotionals/Bible, our prayer life can really be related to how much our parents did those things, and if it was somewhat non-existent it would take strength to make it a part of marriage. Not that it is a generational sin, but you really do realize how much generations before you influence you.
